Privacy policy

This policy describes how PileZero LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use pilezero.com and the PileZero application (together, the "Service").

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Photos you upload — images of items you submit for listing generation. We remove embedded metadata from stored copies and keep capture time separately when available so photos remain in order.
• Listing details — titles, item specifics, descriptions, prices, and other listing content generated by the Service or edited by you.
• Quality-review records — AI responses and generated drafts, the first published listing, references to the photos used, and details about the AI models and instructions used to generate the listing. These records can contain seller-provided listing content.
• Marketplace connections — when you connect an account, we store the account details and authorization needed to manage your listings. We never see or store your marketplace password.
• Service activity — operational information such as feature use, generation counts, and approximate device and browser information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Billing information — payment details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us. We keep records of your plan, credit balance, purchases, automatic top-up preferences, and payment status.

How we use it

• To provide the Service: generating listing details from your photos, helping you review them, and sending listings to a connected marketplace when you choose.
• To operate your account: authentication, plan limits, billing, and support.
• To communicate with you about the Service, including transactional email and, if you opt in, product updates.
• To improve the Service through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
• To evaluate and improve listing generation by comparing generated drafts with the listings sellers publish. Authorized operators may review individual records and available item photos; this review is not limited to aggregated data.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos or listings to advertise to you.

Service providers and connected services

We share data with these types of third-party services only as needed to run the Service:

• Hosting, storage, and communications providers — operate the website and application, store account and listing data, store and deliver photos, provide security, and send service emails.
• Payment processors — handle subscriptions and optional prepaid credit purchases, including automatic top-ups when you enable them.
• AI processing services — generate listing details from your photos and item context. We configure each request to disallow provider data collection and use providers that accept that restriction.
• Connected marketplaces, such as eBay — receive the information needed to connect your account and publish listings when you choose, under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

• We keep your data while your account is active.
• Quality-review records are available for 90 days after generation, then removed by scheduled weekly cleanup. Deleting the item or your account also deletes its review records. We do not keep extra photo copies solely for these records.
• When you edit a photo, we keep its stored original so you can restore it while the photo remains in use. This copy may already have been processed during upload. Unused photo files are removed by scheduled cleanup.
• You can request account access, export, correction, or deletion by emailing us from your verified account address. We may retain minimal records required for legal, fraud-prevention, security, or accounting purposes.
• We honor eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion notifications: when eBay tells us a user has deleted their eBay account, we delete the associated eBay data we hold.
• When you disconnect eBay, the Service requests revocation from eBay before removing the local connection credentials. If eBay cannot confirm revocation, the disconnect is not completed and you can try again or contact support.

Security

We use measures designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit, restricted access to production systems, and storage protections. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Submit a request from your verified account email address to the support address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
